Labour Hire are looking for a FORKLIFT OPERATOR for a well-established company in CORBY.
About you:
- Current VNA and Counterbalance licences - both essential.
- At least two years’ warehouse experience.
- Experience operating Counterbalance forklifts.
- Good attention to detail and an understanding of warehouse procedures.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to carry out the physical duties of the role.
- Availability to work both rotating shifts and the Saturday rota.
- Previous experience in food storage, product sampling or testing would be an advantage.
About the role:
- Monday to Friday, rotating between 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00.
- One Saturday rota every 6 weeks paid extra.
- Salary - £28,500 per annum.
- Operating VNA trucks for picking and put-away.
- Operating Counterbalance forklifts for loading and unloading.
- Checking incoming goods, booking in deliveries and locating stock accurately.
- Sampling and testing products in line with site procedures.
- Using handheld and truck-mounted radio data terminals (RDTs).
- Checking and reporting damaged goods.
- Maintaining accurate records, including temperature and weighing checks.
- Following food safety, quality and warehouse safety procedures.
